All Kreon scanners (except the Skiron that is dedicated to the MicroScribe arm) have the same universal interface that allows them to be mechanically connected to all kinds of supports of the market.
The integration in « manual » mode or « joystick » mode is very simple. The Kreon system can be interfaced in parallel of the existing configuration, without disturbing the measuring devices already installed.
Polygonia software (or plug-ins for third-party software) can be used on the same computer as the one of the measuring software of the machine.
- The machine can be driven by software or by using a control panel or manually in the case of a manual machine.
- Thus, many manual machines with horizontal arms have been retrofitted with KREON scanners for automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
- Compatible with Renishaw: KREON scanners can be mounted on PH10 (T and M) motorized heads as well as on MIH manual heads.
