The latest edition of the Industrie show, meeting point for industrial equipment and manufacturing professionals, was held in Lyon (France), from March 6 to 9, 2007.
Show visitors were able to experince the capabilities and flexibility of Kreon scanners on 4 different stands :
the Hexagon Metrology stand on Romer Sigma 7 axis portable measuring arm the stand of Kreon distributor Boreal on Faro arm the stand of Metrologic Group , interfaced to a 3D CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) the stand of ActiCM interfaced to measuring tool Actiris for an original, portable solution The integration of the Zephyr KZ 50 scanner onto the Romer Sigma SC arm was demonstrated in exclusivity on the Hexagon stand in Hall 6. This new portable solution for reverse engineering and quality inspection of parts includes a removable 7 axis for the interface of the Kreon 3D laser scanner.
This unique solution offers :
rapid and flexible set up for plug-and-play assembly of laser scanner on Romer arm 7 axis for greater freedom of movement during scanning process a variety of software interfaces for real-time inspection of parts This powerful measurement solution unites user-friendliness and accuracy, enabling the user to proceed to real-time surface inspection by comparing each scanned point to a theoretical CAD definition. This makes it possible to visualize errors instantaneously and to speed up correction processes.
On the Boreal booth, visitors observed the accuracy of the Kreon Zephyr scanner on Faro arm, demonstrated during surface inspection of foundry parts for automotive engines. They also had a preview of the unique characteristics of Aquilon, Kreon's next-generation 3D laser scanner.
For a complete demo of Aquilon's unrivalled accuracy and speed and of the new AQC (Auto-Quality Check) functionality, visit us on booth 6206, all 6 at the Control show iin Snsheim, Germany from May 8 to 11, 2007.
