Kreon launches ANEMO 3D Scanner for Onyx measuring arm

Technical specifications:

Ultra-high speed of 1,200,000 points per second along a 200 mm-wide laser line to generate dense point cloud data quickly.
4,000 points per laser line, delivering a resolution of 25 μm to capture complex geometries accurately.
An accuracy of 12 μm (scanner alone) of the scanner maintains consistent results regardless of the part’s material and surface finish.
Replacing the dedicated M8 thread with a standard Renishaw mount allows any probe with a PAA1 adapter to fit beneath the scanner. Once calibrated, it can be removed and refitted with excellent repeatability, without recalibration.

With the Onyx arm, Anemo combines probing and 3D scanning in one system, on the shop floor or in the metrology lab. The capabilities of the Onyx Anemo 3D measurement solution allow inspection of any surface and material of cast, mold and die, tools, sheet metal, injected plastic parts and foundry components.

This complete workflow efficiently supports automotive and aerospace production in their quality control, FAI and reverse engineering applications.
